Since we arrived home with our little girl, and yesterday, she was 26 months old! I can't believe it has been 7 months, then again, it seems like she has been with us forever. She is an amazing little girl. She has adjusted really well and we are very excited to be going back to China in a few months to bring home her jie jie, Allie. I found this poem, and it speaks volumes - particularly to anyone who has experienced the miracle of adoption.
The Gift of Life
I didn't give you the gift of life, but in my heart I know.
The love I feel is deep and real, as if it had been so.
For us to have each other is like a dream come true!
