The 11th Annual Kite Festival

Today was the 11th Annual Kite Festival. We had never been before, and didn't have any idea how big this thing was! There were kite clubs from a number of different states, and they were expecting about 10,000 people!! It was like a summer day too, so lots of folks were out enjoying the nice weather. There were lots of kites - all shapes, sizes and colors. The girls loved it, and got free T-shirts, kites, and a little stuffed pig. After the kite festival, we went to visit Aunt Pete for her birthday - she is in her middle 80s!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY AUNT PETE!!!
