Please pray for our oldest son, Justin - He fainted on Friday and hit his head pretty hard on the floor. We spent the night with him Friday night since Megan was out of town with her job. He seems OK now, but better get to the doctor!! When we got home Saturday, both girls, and mommie got haircuts - we all needed them! Then, Saturday night, we had our second annual get together at the Landes' house. Lots of our friends who have Chinese children were there, and we had a pot luck and a bonfire, and made yummy smores! The girls had a great time, as we all did.
We also got a few pics before church today. Enjoy the pictures from the weekend.
Oh, I do have one little story - one night this week, Emma told me she loved me - I asked her how much. She said, "You are my only sunshine." - too cute, and it brought tears to my eyes.

It's been a while
Emma was sick about a week, so I haven't had a chance to post in almost two weeks, now. I try hard to update weekly, though, sometimes, it just doesn't work out! Two girls are keeping me pretty busy!
I did get a few pics last week, though mostly of Allie, since Emma wasn't feeling well. This past weekend, we went to visit my mom, the girls' NaNa, PaPa, MaMa, and my dad's mom too - I still have both grandmas - One soon to be 87, the other one, will soon be 91.
Enjoy the pictures!

Sunday School
Sunday School is a very important part of our growth in Christ. Our church truly believes that children are treasures from God, and wants desperately for all children to grow up to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Beginning in the 1 year old class, the kids have music, and a short Bible story in addition to some play time and snack time. Emma spent all of last year in the 1 year old class, and learned a lot. She is now in the 2 year old class, and for now, we also have Allie in the same class. They are doing great, and love to attend. They are learning to sit at the table, and to listen quietly as the teacher goes over the lesson, usually consisting of a short Bible story, and some fun game, or craft to help them to remember what the lesson was about.
Today, their Bible story was Jeremiah and the Bible Scroll, based on Jeremiah 36:1-4, 22-24, 27-28, & 32. They learned that every word in the Bible is from God, and that from the first page to the last page, every single thing in the Bible is true.
We haven't taken many pictures this week, but we always try to take a few on Sunday morning. Enjoy the ones we got this morning.

My best friend
Today, October 1, 2008, is 26 years that God has blessed me by being married to my best friend. Bobby & I met at Myrtle Beach after high school graduation, and got married just 3.5 months later. We spend as much time together as we can, and that also usually includes our children. Tonight, we went out for dinner with our girls and our younget son, Josh.
We are looking forward to at least 26 more!!
