We got to Beijing on August 9, and got to our hotel about 11:00 pm after a total of 22 hours of travel - long day!!!
We did lots of sightseeing, including Tianamen Square, the Forbidden City, the Great Wall of China, an authentic Chinese teahouse, and we also got to visit the Living Hope Learning Center in Beijing. We took a rickshaw ride through Hutong, and got to go into a neighborhood to see how they live in that area, and actually into a Chinese household. It was fascinating!
We left Beijing yesterday morning at 5:10 to fly 3 hours to Nanning, where our darling little one is. We went out venturing on our own, and went to the park where the last pictures of Emma were taken. I got teary-eyed when I saw the horse on the carousel like the one she was on. We will get our baby this afternoon - Monday here in China, at 3:30 pm.
I will update with pictures when we have her and things settle down.
Praise the Lord, not long now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are waiting on those pictures. I hope when I get up in the morning that there are plenty of them. Praying for an easy transition.
