Alyssa knows she has a family!!!

We had asked our wonderful adoption agency, Madison Adoption, to see if they could find out whether Alyssa had received her package.  Today, we received this from their contact in China...

She has received! She is very very happy! She like the books! She love the family!

We went to Lily's 7th birthday party on Saturday, and had a great time!  The girls are all so sweet!

Easter Break at the Beach

We spent our Easter break at the beach.  We had a great time playing in the sand, the pool, walking on the beach, and spending time with MaMa - though we missed our NaNa!!  Here are some pictures from our week...

Easter Egg Hunt - Fun, Fun, Fun!!

Our church held an Easter Egg hunt for the children, with hunting, face painting, cake walks, crafts - lots of fun!!  The girls had a great time!  Here are a few pictures...

New Pictures of Alyssa

I emailed the yahoo group for Alyssa's orphanage, and 2 families responded that they had some pictures of her.  One family did a homeland tour last year, and had several pics of her.  They were kind enough to send us some.  They said she was obviously very happy, and a favorite in the orphanage.  She joined in a number of their family photos - she really wants a family!   We can't wait to get her home!!  Here are some of the pictures...

Working on that Dossier!!!!!

We had our first home study visit tonight!  Three more to go, and we should have our home study completed either the first or second week of May.  If immigation moves quickly, we might be DTC by mid-June - if not, we will have to ask CCAA for an extension.  When we received our PA, they gave us a date of June 18 to be DTC!!  If we make it, we should have Alyssa home before the end of the year - we can't wait!!!
