Happy Birthday Lucy!!!
Sweet little Lucy turned 4 this week, and we celebrated with her today! There was wonderful fellowship, and fun had by all. Here are some pictures from her party...

FCC Chinese New Year Celebration - FINALLY!
After two other attempts - both snowed out, we finally got to have our local FCC group's Chinese New Years' celebration. We had 98 people there!! Several new families to the group, AND, a new referral to celebrate! Our friends Doug and Susan from Danville, received their referral two weeks ago - after waiting 46 months for their sweet girl's picture, they should be headed to China sometime in the next month - we are so excited for them!! Also, another wonderful local family, the Mordick's just arrived home with beautfiul 7 year old Ivy - she is doing really great, and seemed to enjoy being with the other families. HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!!
Yesterday, the Taubman Museum hosted a Chinese New Year Celebration. We went to check it out from 2-5 and had a great time! There were crafts for the kids, Chinese caligraphy - had both the girls names done, the traditional Dragon Dance, music, martial arts demonstrations, and information on how different regions in China celebrate the holiday, including decorating their homes, foods typically eaten, and gifts exchanged, including the "red envelopes" given to the children with Chinese money in them for the ocassion. At the end, all the children in attendance also received a red envelope. The girls enjoyed it. Here are a few pictures from the afternoon...
